About ADIG
The African Diaspora Investment Gateway exists because the information gap in diaspora investment is real, well-documented, and consequential.
African diaspora communities send more than $100 billion back to the continent every year — more than twice total overseas development aid. A significant proportion of that capital wants to become investment. But for most diaspora investors, the path from intent to action is unclear. Legal frameworks differ by jurisdiction. Markets are hard to read from overseas. Trust in local professionals is difficult to establish at distance. And most existing resources are either too generic, too academic, or built for institutional investors rather than individuals.
ADIG was built to address this directly. Not as a financial product, not as an investment platform, not as advice — but as structured, honest, accessible guidance, organised around the way diaspora investors actually think about African markets: by country, by question, by stage of their journey.
What ADIG is
A structured guide to African investment, organised by country and guidance category. Membership is free. Content is written for the diaspora investor perspective. The signposting service connects you with vetted professionals when you are ready to act.
What ADIG is not
ADIG does not provide financial advice. We do not recommend specific investments. We do not take commission. We are an information and introduction service.
Who built it
ADIG is built and operated by ARK Group International, a UK-based organisation working at the intersection of diaspora capital and African development.
